The charity supports water, sanitation and health projects worldwide. It also assists in providing water purifying tablets, water containers and hygiene packs to the victims of disasters, such as in times of major floods and earthquakes.
- In Cambodia, ‘Just a Drop’ has built 50 new wells in nine villages, restored five other wells and launched a community health programme.
- In Ethiopia ‘Just a Drop’ installed more protected wells and started a community health programme.
- In Mozambique and Malawi money from Just a Drop has helped to drill 105 new boreholes, restored 90 other boreholes, built 2000 household sanitation platforms and 14 double latrine blocks for schools and clinics.
- In Swaziland alone ‘Just a Drop’ has helped to provide safe drinking water for 5,600 children and adults as well as build 700 latrines.
- And in times of crisis such as the Hurricane Mitch disaster in Central America and the catastrophic earthquake in Turkey, ‘Just a Drop’ has helped transport hygiene packs, portable water containers and water purifying tablets
